The Groudbreaking Journey Continues! After a long fight, girls wrestling is alive and doing amazing things in Pennsylvania. This weekend we will get to watch some of the best girls in the country battle it out for the first PIAA State title! POPCORN READY!

208 female qualifiers are set to compete in their first Championship event! Ches-Mont takes pride in showcasing the following exceptional athletes:

Hayley Jaffee

After clinching first place at Regionals, Haylie Jaffe (Kennett) heads to Hershey. Despite winning three girls state titles previously, none were sanctioned by the PIAA. With the recent introduction of girls wrestling as a varsity sport in Pennsylvania last offseason, her primary objective became winning a PIAA championship. Let’s go Haylie!!! 

SV Jameson

Jameson Strickland, from Sun Valley, took first place at Regionals two weeks ago. As a freshman, she started off her career strong taking first place in 8 out of 9 tournaments!

Sienna Landrum

Sienna Landrum, from Downingtown West, demonstrated her prowess at regionals, clinching the top spot with a first-place finish with THREE pins!! 

Sarah Pearson

Sarah Pearson, representing Downingtown West, proudly donned a bronze medal at Regionals, boasting an impressive 3-1 record!
