Great Valley’s Senior Night was a Slam Dunk

Great Valley’s basketball court was on fire Tuesday night as the Patriots hosted Rustin for a showdown that had the crowd on the edge of their seats. It wasn’t just any game—it was Senior Night, a night filled with cheers, tears, and spectacular plays. With major Chesmont and District 1 playoff implications on the line, the Patriots knew they had to bring their A-game. The evening was a celebration of four outstanding seniors and one spirited cheerleader who have left an indelible mark on Great Valley Basketball. 

The game itself was a nail-biter, with both teams giving it their all. The Patriots managed to keep their noses in the lead, displaying remarkable teamwork and determination. In the end, they emerged victorious with a final score of 53-47, sending the fans into a frenzy.

Senior Captain Jack Woodard stole the spotlight, putting on a dazzling performance with an impressive 28 points and 10 rebounds. His leadership and skills on the court were truly captain-worthy, setting the tone for the entire team. Junior Jack Weikert also made his mark with 10 points and a relentless ball pressure defense that kept the opposition on their toes.
